Very powerful pocket reference
This app is very handy to have in your pocket. Not only does it demonstrate how to tie knots with clear high quality images, it also provides information about each knot that can help you determine which one best fits your specific needs. I really like being able to maintain a list of favorite knots for a quick lookup. Navigation and use is very easy. This app gives you a huge wealth of information in a very structured easy to follow format. It's definitely worth carrying this one around.
Frustrated
Bought it just for the fishing knots but it doesn't tell you what each knot is for.. For example 1:what's the best knot for braid or mono? 2:what about combining 2 different lines with different diameters? 3:how about combining braid with mono? Pro knots is just as good and cheaper.. Update these problems please and you will get 5 stars
Great app!
This is a neat app. The knots are neatly divided into categories, though an app can appear in more than one category. This makes it easy to find the one you want. You can also add knots to a "favorites" list. Within each knot "card" you get an animated tying of the knot - which you can single-step through if you want - and then flip it over for background information. It all seems to work really well. I had the desktop version of this app already, but this is 1/3 the price and way better because I always have it with me!
