This bad boy has potential!
I saw the press release for this on ANN; and I was like,"this represents one of the holy grails of American otaku fandom: Anime, on-demand, and in your pocket!"
The very next day,I loaded up my iTunes account for the purchase.
The verdict: Using only my 3G signal, video playback was very good with the occasional lag here or there(note, if it lags, just tap the screen).
Room for improvement: 1.So far, I've only seen dubs(show us sub-lovers some attention) 2.The selection is very sparse.
Overall: As a long time fan,I'm happy to see that otaku fantasies about easy access to anime are becoming reality everyday. I will continue to support this app and efforts like it!
An Anime lovers must have app!
I love this app! Great quality video, no wi-fi required, Lots of great Anime that is constantly being updated. I highly recommend this app to any Anime lovers.
Needs improvement, but not too far off
This app would be great if users could log in using their existing anima network accounts, I see no reason to pay 69.95 a year for a fraction of what your webpage offers for the same price. Having said that, if this was possible, I would definitely upgrade my web account to premium. Note: there is a very limited selection for this app, only one episode for each series so far. This app needs some improvements before I put any more cash into it at all!
Update: new episodes have been added, glad too see we can watch more than one episode of a show at any given time.
