What's New in Version 4.9
NEW! The wines of France's Burgundy (Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais). Burgundy is home to the supreme expressions of pinot noir and chardonnay; the region’s wines are celebrated for their subtlety, sophistication, and reflection of terroir. Plus, as 2009 and 2010 were excellent vintages and quality wines were made throughout the region (not just the top appellations), now is the perfect time to explore. As always, our detailed profiles give you information on what to expect from each area's wines and why they are distinctive.
We have also added in even more more detailed appellation maps for Burgundy -- click and zoom!

Disappointed
Obviously tilted for very narrow areas in a few countries ... Can't quite figure how these guys can ignore a little wine making novice country like Germany!
I'm STILL waiting! Are you simply going to ignore Germany ... one of the most important and oldest wine producing countries in the world. Or, are you just too snobbish to include some of their most award winning wines?
