Astounding Retina Wallpapers
This is a fantastic update to one of my favorite apps. The new retina user-interface is sharp and the retina wallpaper downloads are nothing short of stunning on the new iPad. Highly recommended!
Beautiful wallpaper, but . . .
Many of the wallpapers are stunning! However, it would be great if this was a universal app, for the iPhone as well. I would like to put some of this wallpaper on my phone, as well (and for $3.99 I should be able to). I couldn't get the share button to work, either. And, the app should allow one to browse by more defined categories. This app needs a little polishing, but the photography is beautiful.
Great images, app lacking polish
I have loved the wallpapers interfacelift provides and that is why I decided to purchase this app. I'm loving the retina display images, but beyond that I find the interface lacking. The "share" button is inconsistent with iOS in that it only allows posting to twitter. I should be able to email and open in safari the minimum. The app also offers no way to see the description or any details of an image beyond the title. It would be great to be able to favorite things so I can revisit easily as well.
It is difficult to only leave 3 stars for this app, as I am a huge fan of the content and have used the site for years. However the app experience is lacking for all the reasons I've stated. Download if you want to support them, but do not expect a terribly polished user experience at this time.
