The new “Barclays Bikes” app has been redesigned to simplify your journey, helping you to just enjoy the ride.
Like the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme, it connects those on the go to the real London.
•Locate a docking station to get your bike.
•Quickly find the nearest docking point to drop your bike off.
•Plan how you want to ride - choose from speedy, steady or quiet cycle-friendly routes.
•Get around easier with clear, concise maps and turn-by-turn directions.
•Bookmark the docking stations you use regularly.
•Set a timer to alert you before your free 30 minutes are up.

Barclays Cycle Hire extends east
On 8 March the scheme welcomed 2,300 more bikes and 4,800 docking points to cover:
Tower Hamlets, North Shoreditch, Camden Town, Canary Wharf and Westfield White City.
This takes the total number of available bikes to 8,300 from 15,000 docking points across central and east London.
