Description
Barcodes is a simple yet powerful barcode scanner for iPhone. It allows you to scan these tags you now see almost everywhere! It does not only tell you what's behind the code you just scanned, but it will trigger the appropriate action, like opening a url, creating a contact, making a phone call, writing an sms
- on-the-fly scanning: you just launch the scanner by simply taping the screen, and it will stop and present you the result when the QR code has been resolved
- archive: the app keeps the history of your scans so that you can easily come back to it if necessary. It makes a lot of senses of you know you visised a website from your barcode scanner
The application is Open Source under the Apache license, and part of the ZXing project.
At this moment, only QR codes are supported, but future versions will probably decode other kinds of barcodes.

I use this app mostly for qr codes. Works every time.

Too many of these scanning apps are total crap. This one actually works and it's fast.
