Description
BeeCells is a highly enjoyable game. Once you start, you won’t want to stop. Try it, and see how high you can score. The goal is to group six or more balls of the same color together. Once the balls are grouped, your score increases, and the grouped balls disappear to make room for more maneuvers. After each turn, your Mac puts more balls on the board and your task becomes more difficult. The game is over when the board completely fills up. BeeCells has colorblind mode with fruits and flowers instead of balls. There are also different color skins. Enjoy the game!

The House Always Wins - not fun
This is fairly fun game... at first. For every gamepiece moved, three more appear on the board. It takes no time at all before the board fills up and your path is blocked. The game sorely needs an option to set the desired number of gamepieces added after each play, say from 1 to 4. Because the board fills up so fast, it becomes just a pointless clicking exercise after that because it's obvious you're not going to score again.
Suggestions:
1. Option to set fewer number of pieces added after each move.
2. The game design means that the house always wins. "The game is over when the board completely fills up." There is something discouraging about always knowing you'll be overrun. If it were possible to beat the game by completely clearing the board (an added game-over condition), the game wouldn't seem so fruitless.
Even though trying to beat your previous score is supposed to be the goal, knowing you'll never clear the board makes playing this game seem like drudgery from the beginning. Imagine an unbeatable solitaire game, where point accumulation is the only goal. Not many would want to play a game like that, and that's how I feel when I play this one. Having the option to set fewer added gamepieces could make it possible to clear the board and feel like you "won" the game.
The reason I'm saying this is that I would be inspired to buy the XL version if this game was beatable. As it's currently designed, it doesn't take long to reach the upper limit of your ablity to beat your own score. Where's the incentive to play after that?
Loved it as iPad app, but doesn't work
been aching to play this again, so bought it on my Mac... but it doesn't work! How do I get my money back?
super addicting
sometimes I hestitate to open this game because simple as the concept is, I often end up convincing myself that it's okay to just play one more time, and suddently, I've wasted an hour. It's awesome though
