LOVE the hardware...PLEASE fix the software!
The grip itself is awesome. It makes the iPhone 100 times easier to hold and keep steady. BUT the software RUINS it! Pictures are NOT full resolution! Please just have it work with the native camera app. Or at least not compress my photos in half! :-(
Zoom and shutter is problematic
When focused before shooting image it reduces the image and then shutters. in other words it doesnt take what i view thru iphone prior to snapping shutter button. There is a time lapse too. Its a major bug and needs a fix!! Also shutter freezes and doesnt down load to its gallery which is another major bug .
Looking for the next up grade to fix these concerns .
Works well but needs a few software improvements
Just got this from the apple store last night ($39.99) so good buy. Watched lots of reviews online and most didn't like it but I downloaded the app in advance and could see the improvements they have made over the last few weeks so moving in the right direction.
I would like to see the option of setting your own time in the timer i.e: 1, 2 or 3 seconds also an onscreen count down would be good. Also it should leave the timer on as currently it resets each time you take a photo which is a pain, I would prefer to turn it on and off myself.
I would also like the screen to show the full photo when shooting as currently it is cropped until you take the photo and then it sort of zooms out.
It would be nice if you could launch the app as soon as the grip is attached by pressing the shutter button so you don't have to unlock and launch the app.
I think if a bit of work is done on the app this could be the camera attachment of choice for all iPhone users!!!!
Hope the guys at Belkin read this and update asap!!!
