Search function broken
I want to like this app, especially how you don't have to pay $15 just to use the shopping list feature like Big Oven requires you to do. And I was able to open recipes directly within the app rather than being kicked over to the browser- another plus. And they get the shopping list right, allowing you to choose which ingredients to add, and organizing them by recipe. You can also add your own random items to the list as well. Yay!
But the Search by Category feature doesn't work! Unless you are content to browse their pre-programmed features groups like Baby shower and Kids lunchbox, you cannot do a basic search for, say, "chicken recipes". The option is there but it just keeps saying "no results found".
Fix this and I'll gladly revise my rating.
Search function needs improvement
Generally, I am a HUGE fan of this app. I have been using allrecipes for a long time but I like how this app includes recipes from cookbooks as well as user recipes. The problem with this app (and it is a big one) is that the ability to search is ineffective because the back button and search bar at the top disappear if you look at an outside recipe. You have to completely turn off your phone and turn it back on to get the original search screen back.

This is awesome. Especially if you already have a bunch of tastebook recipes.
