Each issue is completely redesigned for maximum legibility on the iPad, and most charts and graphics are interactive.
Issues will become available around the 7th day of the previous calendar month. For example, the May issue will be available around April 7th.

Why pay twice?
It's so stupid that in order to read a magazine I have subscribed to for 12 years, I have to pay twice. WIRED, Parents, Time and Fitness magazines also come to my house but I get the digital copies FREE on iPad. Pretty cheap C&D.
App is broken
Cannot even download the newest issue. It gets to 46.9% each time and stops cold. Have tried deleting and re-installing the issue and the app itself. Nothing works. Will definitely not be renewing this charge
I will not pay twice.
I have subscribed to the print edition off and on for years. I linked my subscription with my iPad and enjoyed the digital edition and sometimes didn't ever read the print magazine. Now, it seems Apple and Car and Driver want me to pay twice for the same content. Sorry, that won't happen. Other automotive magazines don't want to cheat me out of money so I will stick with them.
