Disappointing support - review about CHEQROOM in general, not just this app

We’re well over a year in on using this program. I don’t use this app much because the desktop app is much more powerful. In general, the whole system lacks quite a few important features for us. The more disappointing part is that we pay over $3500 a year for this program and the customer support is basically worthless.

We’re constantly stuck trying to find work-arounds and sneaky ways to deal with bugs that go unacknowledged by the support team.

I’d switch programs in a heartbeat if I could find something with similar feature sets. (Here’s my hint that represents I’m likely to keep shelling out money to this company in hopes things continue to improve)

There’s so much potential for this program to exceed in meeting the needs of my industry, but I won’t recommend it to anyone until some basic needs are met.

Good idea, but too clunky

Certain steps could be made more efficient. For example. Once you tap on a reservation, it takes 3 more taps to add additional gear to the reservation and an additional 3 more taps to check out the equipment.

Each step could be a quick single tap to add more gear and another tap to check out the reservation.

User Interface is among the worst I’ve ever seen.

The app itself has decent functionality, but it’s really hard to see through what is probably the clunkiest user interface I’ve ever encountered. Hopefully they continue to improve there, because the back end isn’t bad. But the UI is so bad it makes me not even want to use the app.
