NOTE ON MOVIE QUALITY
Many people have commented on the quality of the movies, so please keep in mind these are not DVD quality films. First, many of these films never found their way to digital, so what you are seeing is actual first cut from film, tape, or other. Next, they are being streamed to the iPad from the server so we are limited in the quality we can provide. We are doing our best to improve, but many of these films are rare which is why we feel this app is so special.

Buy MovieVault for iPad instead!
If you own an iPad 1 with iOS5, do not buy Classic Westerns for iPad.
Instead you should buy MovieVault for iPad (also made by the folks at Fling Soft), which is fully compatible with iOS5 and works great! In addition, MovieVault has all the movies from Classic Westerns and hundreds more from other genres. Take a look at my review for MovieVault below.
My Review for MovieVault:
I bought this application for my grandfather and it works a charm. The selection is huge and movies stream without any lag or delay. The constantly updated selection is great on the iPad and one would be challenged to find a better selection anywhere else on the web. Customer support is fantastic as well.
Good movies but locks up when through.
I like the old movies, when the movie is over, it won't go back to the menu. I have tried every tap and swipe I know,but nothing works. I have to shut down and reboot.
Picture resolution
I really wish the picture was clearer. I really love all these films.
