Description
ClassTime offers a comprehensive management system for teachers. Users can conveniently plan their daily schedules by date, time, period, and course, and track student behavior by date, incident, and consequence. Student attendance and grading modules allow the teacher to track these items across multiple classes and subjects.
Features
• Set up multiple agendas. Make new agendas by semester or year. A search function allows the user to easily find information from previous dates.
• Choose the number of periods and the timetable for each day.
• Enter all of your courses. The user can pick the appropriate course for each period from a drop down menu.
• Enter daily plans for each subject. This area scrolls down to allow the user to enter large amounts of text.
• Conveniently placed at the top of each page is a note section to provide space for daily reminders.
• Enter student names by date to track their behaviors and consequences that they receive.
• Record grades on assignments for each of your classes.Note: This will record grades, not complete calculations.
• Export page data as a .csv to iTunes or via email.
What's New in Version 1.6.2
The following issue fixes:
1. When new names are added into the attendance and grading modules, they did not appear in alphabetic order.
2. When adding student names to existing Attendance or Grades modules, the addition did not save.

Great idea, very poor performance
I'm a teacher and this looked like a great app to keep track of my classes, attendance, and student behaviors. However, setting up classes, students, attendance record were all very repetitive. The same information had to be repeatedly added over and over again.
One would assume that once you enter a start date for a schedule, the subsequent dates would automatically fall into place , but they do not. Each following date has to be manually added over and over again - that would be for 180 days for teachers! Along with auto date generation, an option to include or not include weekends would be helpful.
Dates set up in the schedule (lesson plans) did not transfer to the attendance page, so I would have to re-enter the dates again, after already setting them up in the schedule page.
Adding students is again very repetitive. I added the student names in the incident report option, then found I had to re-enter the student names for the attendance page... ??? Why?
One last problem. I teach one subject, same lesson plans, three times a day. I added the three different class schedules, but there was no option to separate students into period 1, period 2, and period 3, or to realistically change the period 1,2,3 tags to the periods I actually teach: periods 1, 6, and 11.
Teachers are already time-challenged with all we have to do. This program was (I thought) supposed to make my job easier...)
