ConversationBuilder™ (Pat. Pend.) is designed to help elementary aged children learn how to have multi-exchange conversations with their peers in a variety of social settings.
The auditory pattern of conversation is presented in a visual format to help students recognize and master the flow of conversation. Students will learn when it is appropriate to introduce themselves, ask questions, make observations and change the subject of the conversation.
Being able to converse with peers is the cornerstone of developing relationships, and ConversationBuilder™ promotes development of this skill that so many elementary aged children struggle with in a fun and engaging way.

Very Useful
As a speech language pathologist, I am always looking for applications that are effective and straightforward that will motivate my clients. This app has met my expectations. I like that I can email the conversations to myself and parents so they can hear the conversations as well. My clients are highly motivated to "play the game" and work hard to make their recording sound good also. I have used it with kids on the spectrum as well as other children working on their expressive langauge, particularly pacing and intonation. My clients listen to the feedback they get when they guess the wrong answer and respond well when they choose the appropriate answer.
Overall a very nice app, easy to use and helpful in therapy.
Wow! This is a great app.
I love this app. The conversational choices are perfect, they guide the conversation, but they also make my daughter discriminate between subtle differences that can positively or negatively impact a conversation. The choices offer opportunities to discuss with students what makes one response OK and another one not OK. I especially like the group setting, it allows for conversations to go in any direction. It's very helpful for my daughter to hear her own voices as a part of a conversation. This is a "must-have" app for anyone who wants to help a child with conversational skills!
Exactly the tool we were looking for
This app is exactly what we were looking for! My son is 7 and has high functioning autism. He is really smart with a pretty well developed vocabulary but he struggles with social interactions. He loves to interact but tends to just say the same things over and over because he knows they get a response. This is really helping him learn to have more productive and enjoyable conversations.
