What’s new in version 3.8.3?
DPMobile’s newest release features the following corrections to ensure ease of use:
• Using your phone’s camera to upload a donor image will work seamlessly
• DPMobile will show the correct donor status in the Donor Profile
• Gifts processed through DPMobile will create a gift entry in the gateway and in DonorPerfect
• When you click save to create a contact transaction, DPMobile will create one contact record.
Ratings and Reviews
A nice start
This app has some very nice features. I particularly like the ability to dictate notes. However there is a serious bug. If you are working with the report that lists upcoming contacts, you need to quit the program and completely close it between each contact or it will show contact notes from a previous donor record. Sometimes it will freeze and just not show contacts for the current donor record. I reported this bug sometime ago, and there's still no fix.
Actually donor perfect is pretty slow about fixing bugs that make the program hard to use. I found this true on the web-based app as well.
Card pictures don’t work, unable to use with volunteers
Accepting donations by taking a picture of the card is useless as it won’t register any card on any surface so all cards must be swiped (with their expensive reader) or manually entered.
There is also no way for volunteers to use the app at a fundraising event without first creating individual accounts (which require a different email address for reach one).
It’s a pain to do all this extra work for a product we pay so much for.
Crashes
Whenever I open the contact note tab, the app crashes and closes.
