The main goal of Dr. Rounds+ is to keep a tight track on charge capture and record the billing status of daily visits, consults and procedures primarily encountered in an inpatient setting. The patient list is created on a given date and then patient encounters are recorded as new consults, daily visits, post-ops, procedures, etc. Once patients are seen, they are marked as so. Subsequently, when the healthcare professional compiles daily or weekly billing summaries, they can confirm that all patients that have pending charges do get billed.
