Description
The Dragon Remote Microphone app turns the iPhone into a wireless microphone making it easier and more comfortable for individuals to use their Dragon Desktop software. Instead of using the microphone that comes in the retail box, users can now opt to use their iPhone as a microphone instead.
This app can be used with Dragon NaturallySpeaking for the PC (v11.5 and higher) and Dragon Dictate for the Mac (V2.5 and higher).

Not perfect, but very very good
I've never written a review before, but when I see all the BAD reviews being written because the pre-req's aren't followed, I have to get involved. I hope that other uses will get past the 1 star ratings and read the input of an informed user who has 11.5.
To every person that gives this app 1 star, you don't deserve to own let alone review iPhone/iPad apps. It clearly states that v11.5 is required. Complaining that you can't get it to work w/11 or the Mac version shows the problem is you.
I have a $500 digital recorder that I purchased for offline recording and later upload to the PC and translation. This app on an iPhone works almost as good, and it's free. It works so good, my $500 device in now in a desk drawer.
Hopefully someday users will think before they write that something doesn't work.

Excellent, Works Perfectly
Like every other Dragon application I've used, the Remote Mic works very well. Setup took almost no time at all, and I received excellent dictation results after completing only the brief, initial training. Version 11.5 of Naturally Speaking was also working very well, and seems to improve on the already outstanding previous version of the program.
Before posting that the Remote Mic isn't Mac compatible, please consider reading the product description before giving it a negative review. The description states very clearly that the current app is Windows-only.

This program works very well with Dragon Dictate 2.5 on the Mac. Very important to set up the remote mic profile in Dragon Dictate first, otherwise your iPhone/iPod/etc. won't find the computer. I am using it with a Monster external mic that plugs in to my iPhone and the recognition accuracy is excellent.
