Why make us use twitter that and facebook blow chunks. Never use them never will. I thought we could accumulate gold to unlock expansion cards or perhaps buy cards in the shop. But instead just three expansions for $3. Hmmm....Guess it's ok but not what I thought it'd be like.
Man did I want to like this game...
First the good news: good looking graphics, no crashes, and there is a tutorial. It runs on the iPad just fine.
Now the bad news: this is a TERRIBLE game. not because it is a bad idea (it is actually a really cool idea). Not because it HAS to be bad (it could have been GREAT). But because the creators were too bloody lazy to play balance the game.
This game is much like rolling a six sided dice and seeing if a 6 comes up, there is that much skill and strategy involved. In order to loose you must draw 8 monsters in a row. I have done that in no less that 10 of 50 plays. NO POSSIBILITY of winning, just "Bad luck, you loose" completely unrepentant lack of interest in the players.
Really too bad, I wanted this game to be something I could use. First game EVER that I want my money back for.
