With a Few Simple Adjustments, This Could Be the 5 Star Replacement for Stanza
I like this app. It is the best of the free ebook apps that allow epub format. Now that ios 5 has broken Stanza (my favorite & most-used app), I was on the hunt for a replacement. I tried about 20 different free ebook readers, and the only one that comes close to this one is the Kobo reader. One big plus is that you can drag your book titles into the app page document file sharing section and sync them directly to the device, so no jumping through hoops trying to download from an online account or emailing books to yourself--simply drag and drop, then sync, and your whole library is there. I haven't tried a large number of books, so I'm not sure what the library management features are like.
The two things that would make this app much better would be swipe to adjust brightness (you can do it in-app, but you have to bring up the settings, where you can adjust the brightness, as well as the margins and font size and orientation lock, among other things). The other thing would be a more intuitive way of handling bookmarks. I think the way Stanza did it was great (tap the upper right corner, and the corner would visibly "fold" down so you knew the bookmark attempt was successful). In eBookS Reader, you have to tap the center of the screen to bring up the options, hit bookmark, which then pulls up another separate screen, where you can choose to enter some notes about the bookmark, and then hit "save". Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any visible clue on the page to indicate that the bookmark was successful, so I ended up checking it again the first several times to make sure that it had worked right. Kobo handles it the same way that Stanza did, and I think that method is far superior. Still, with Stanza gone, this is a very viable alternative.
Looks very promising
I also love Stanza, but this app manages to download ePub and PDF, which is great.
I'm using it with Calibre server. I'll report later when more books are added. When in reading mode, I find everything perfect.
Unfortunately, when in admin mode, I cannot add tags or categories to my books in Library. If the author could give more chance to a manage our books's metadata (tags, categories or groups, name, title, author, etc), I would give a 5 stars to this app.

I have no idea how to use this app it's all in a different language. Also I don't know how to download books help me
