Super Impressed… from Spain!
I just went to Málaga Spain for business and planned to play some golf while I was there. I called caddie support (on the phone!) to see if the courses I planned to play were mapped. They answered the phone immediately and I talked to a real person who was extremely nice and helpful. He even gave me a thorough training on the app over the phone! Anyway, three out of five were mapped, as for the other two, the support team mapped them within 2 hours of our conversation and the distances were flawless!
Skycaddie takes 3-4 months to map a course and other app developers don't even reply to support emails, let alone publishing a phone number. This company makes a first class app and supports it amazingly well. They obviously care about their customers. They have restored my faith in comanies having pride in their work and valuing their customers!
Since I've been back, I've added over 20 more courses to my favorites and they're all mapped and perfect.
Unquestionably, this app is worth the $20 I paid! I recommend it to every golfer. I'm telling all my friends.
Crazy High Tech
I started my round this morning and the rangefinder wasn't working. Before I got off the first tee, I got a text message from executive caddie telling me my course was being mapped. What? The device informed them that the course I was playing wasn't mapped for the gps. Before I reached my tee shot, the hole was completely mapped and functional on my iPhone. By the time I reached the green, the whole course was mapped perfectly!!!
I emailed them to find out what was going on. The app talks to their servers and requests any missing course data. So they mapped the whole course in real time and pushed the updated course data to my phone. Crazy! That's what NASA does with the Mars Rover, which is about 300,000,000 miles away! This app was seriously thought out by some real rocket scientists.
I am so impressed. This is not your average app where you buy it and you're on your own. Also, the app was so incredibly easy to use. I really enjoyed my round and the amazing customer service. I recommend this app to absolutely evreyone.
Great Golf App - Worth Every Penny
Best all-in-one golf app available. Detailed scorecard, GPS for any course in the country, incredible analytical statistics to help your game, identify trends and weaknesses, handicap calculator, the list goes on. Very easy to use, intuitive, simple learning curve. Tech support emails are answered quickly, seemingly 24/7, by friendly staff. If a course is not GPS mapped, they'll have it up in minutes. Links in app to golf course weather reports, telephone numbers, etc. This app improves by leaps and bounds with each update, with quality features added each time. A wonderful tool for serious golfers, or anyone who wants to be serious about improving their game. Costs about the same as two sleeves of quality golf balls, and lasts a lot longer!
