Find My Friends allows you to easily locate your friends and family from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Install this free app on your iOS 5 device and sign in with the Apple ID you use with iCloud. Adding a friend is easy – just send a request to see their location. Once your friend accepts using the Find My Friends app, you will then be able to see that friend’s location on a list or on a map.
You can also choose to share your location for a limited period of time with a group of friends.

Only change is for HD display. No other fixes :(
The only that's keeping this from being a 5 star app is the ability to pick and choose individually from your list of followers who to hide your location from. All you can do now is let everyone see your location or hide your location from everyone. Please make this simple fix and give us the option of who we share our location with, and when. I have many people that I would like to let them follow my location SOMETIMES, but I definitely do not want them to be able to track me 24/7.
where are you?
this could be an amazing program if it told me who in my address book used the program. kind of like how Foursquare does.
rather than having to hunt through and blindly email everyone.
but such is the same for all iOS5 apps, such as iMessage, or even GameCenter
Apple wants to get in on Social, but they're lacking in connecting the dots
Kinda cool.... for an 11 year old.
I have to admit that the concept of this app is great. The execution however is a giant fail. My wife and I thought this would be a great app for her to follow me when I'm working. I work for the government and am rarely in situations that allow me to answer my phone. She has often mentioned that she would love to at least know where I am. If I'm driving home or to a different location. Find Friends seemed like a small but significant benefit to help me accomplish that and on a very small scale... to connect me to her. It turns out this app is not the answer. Most app's will stay running after the phone hibernates or switches programs. This app does NOT. So what is the point?
In order for someone to "Find Friends" you would have to call or text them instructing them to open the app. Then you can see that persons location, forrrrr about 5 minutes.
Uhmm, if I have to call or text someone every time to ask them to turn on this app so I can see their location.
I would rather just ask their location.
Stay logged in option? 5 stars.
Until then, this app is crap.
