Put a little funk in your pocket with the FunkBox vintage drum machine app from Synthetic Bits! FunkBox is designed to look, feel, and sound like a classic beatbox from the 70s and 80s. It uses original audio samples taken directly from our own personal collection of vintage drum machines.

Use CoreMIDI to sync up with other music apps, multi-tasking in the background or on other nearby iOS devices

What's New in Version 2.2
This is a minor fix/tweak maintenance release, there are no new big features but stability and usability are improved. Some specific changes:
Swipe now works to select drum machine in all machine menus (iOS v3.2+)
Edit Part transpose and imported sample bugs have been fixed
iPhone/Touch can now be used in either landscape orientation
Changing orientation no longer stops the beat on the iPad
File browser appearance selection appearance improved
Minor background audio compatibility improvements (iOS v4.1+)
Virtual MIDI ports work better (iOS v4.1+)
Easy MIDI setup mode added to settings (iOS v4.1+)
Various MIDI related bugs fixed (iOS v4.1+)
Connect all local MIDI devices button added to settings (iOS v4.1+)
Other minor fixes, tweaks and optimizations
