Please Note: we have gotten a couple (2 actually out of thousands of downloads) of reports of the Garden Buddy supplier location services not functioning. We have tracked these down to those users either not having devices with GPS ch as the iPad wi-fi ( not the 3g version) or and ipod touch. OR not having network connectivity.
Please note in order to use location based services you must have a device with GPS installed and enabled for the app, and you Must have internet connectivity.
We make every effort to help customers with problems and provide free support on our website, rather than posting negative review we ask that you read and understand the App's requirements and ask for support first.
We are currently working on a new revision which will be available to all users free of charge it will feature all new graphics and lots of new exciting features.

With this 2.0 version release of Garden Buddy we have upgraded the look and feel , added a database of planting information that now includes photos.
We have also added the ability to search many different categories of local suppliers, service providers and all things gardening related using your Iphones GPS or entered location on Ipod touch and Ipad.
This feature connects to Google Local Search and allows you to find gardening suppliers, call them with the push of a button, view full address and contact info, add them to your Iphone contacts , view the suppliers location on a map, and even view detailed travel directions from your location to theirs. This new features makes Garden Buddy your local guide to all things gardening wherever you may travel.
Garden Buddy is your personal gardening companion it knows where the local suppliers are and how to get there, it knows how you should plant what veggies, how long they will take to grow, it lets you easily master many complex gardening related math calculations.

Not bad
This is a cool app for the math help. Keep adding veggies, trees, and herbs on up dates it would be great, maybe even be able to incorporate it in the areas and gardens you calculate.
Locked up iPad
I installed on iPad. Unable to get supplier part of app to work. It just locked up. It wouldn't allow me to input my zip code. Possible it requires 3G? Have uninstalled it.
