Description
GeoAlert is a location aware alarm clock for your iPhone. Simply set a time range you want the alarm to be active, then set a location, and the next time you are near the location in the time range you will be alerted.
So, how can you use this?
* Next time you take a train or bus, set a GeoAlert at your final stop. Don’t be afraid to take a nap since GeoAlert will let you know when you are close to your stop.
* If you are touring a city, try setting a few GeoAlerts at some of its landmarks, museums, etc. Then as you walk through the city, GeoAlert will notify you when you are near a point of interest.
* Need to pick up milk next time you are near the grocery store? GeoAlert to the rescue!
* Wanna avoid certain areas of your city? Just set up a GeoAlert to be notified when you are getting close to undesirable areas.

* GeoAlert now unregisters itself from location multitasking on iOS 4 in order to preserve battery life.
* You can now specify a short message with your alerts that will appear when the alert is triggered.

Does Not Work.
Update: Even though the developer appears to continue working on this app, which I give him credit for, at the moment it still does not function.
Still needs work
iPhone 3GS running iOS4. UI is easy to set up, but I couldn't get it function unless my phone was awake and Geoalert was the active program. I'd set it for my destination and just let the phone time out to sleep. When I knew I was in range, the alarm still didn't sound until I turned the phone back on, and then it alerted me that I was where I needed to be.
Another time Geoalert was running in the background and didn't alert me until I made it the active program.
Keep working guys, you're getting there.
I'll update the rating when it works.
Almost there
Like others have mentioned, alarm does not sound unless app is running in the foreground.
