A Productivity App That Wastes Time
This was a fun and helpful app, I began to depend on it more and more until I had over 20 repeating rewards and 12 repeating tasks. My only complaint about Goya before was that tasks took too long to create, but it was worth it because the app was fun. Not anymore. Now, it crashes - it's been this way for over a month. Appeals via email to Goya are unanswered, and the application will not update.
I would love to renounce this review upon their update, if it ever comes.
Amazing app
I didn't get GOYA before the update, and I saw all the reviews that complained of a constant crashing problem. After the v1.2 update, there's no crashing on my 4th gen iPod touch, which means this app has virtually no problems. It looks beautiful, a welcome reprieve from the ugly "standard graphic" to-do lists that I've been trying lately. The points system is the feature that really sets GOYA apart, though. There wasn't any incentive for me to actually do the things on my to-do lists, but now that I can set rewards for myself (and yes, you actually have to use some self-restraint to save your rewards until you've earned them), I find that I'm getting more work done and still feeling satisfied with the same rewards. Fantastic app for people who the other to-dos just aren't working out for.
