Grand Tours Paris and London
I've been to both London and Paris years ago and can't wait to return, armed with this wonderful new app. You feel this isn't just a great app filled with the absolute top places to visit and not to be missed but the explanation as to why you are there and what makes this particular spot so vital to both their history and charm. From all the extra info from getting passes and where not to visit at certain times of the day to the maps, links and the phrase section, I feel there isn't anything not covered. I feel I've had an extensive history lesson on both cities and have become the most prepared tourist I can be. This isn't just an app, it's a history guide, a planning guide and a exciting tour of two of my favorite cities!!!
Extremely Practical, Informative and Entertaining!
This application has lots of unique features which are great for trip planning - you can do customized packing lists, itineraries and budgets. There is so much information on here regarding places to go, things to see, and what to do in London and Paris, and it is packed with interesting facts and tidbits of unexpected knowledge, all written in a very easy-to-read and entertaining manner. The vast amount of practical information is staggering too - not only do you get the address, but there are maps, subway routes, hours open, and prices. The photos are great, and there is a useful feature of storing your own photos. There is also a fabulous French phrase creator which utilizes a native English speaker speaking French to help us non-French speakers to at least try to speak the language a little - I hate going to a foreign country and just assume that everyone should try to understand me.
The number of features in this application is amazing and makes it a good tool to use from the beginning pre-planning stage through the entire trip and even once you get back home. I hope the publisher puts out more versions of different destinations. I can't wait to use it to its full extent!
