I found it is pretty good for indie comics.
Progress bar?
My first gripe with this app is that downloading a comic doesn't seem to show a progress bar. Another minor gripe is that there are different iPhone and iPad versions. A good developer would have made a universal app.
Clunky Interface :o(
I really wanted to like this app because I was excited that the Mouse Guard comics were in the offering. I am so happy that a free issue was offered before I committed money to buying one of the other comics offered...
The interface is clunky! It does not seem to follow the standard iOS taps, movements, swipes, etc. In fact, it seems totally random, like I get a different result for the same action. Had to do a hard shutdown of the app before I could even find the comics I'd downloaded. Then had a devil of a time closing the comic I'd read! (still not sure how I got it closed)...
Will keep the app for awhile, hoping that the developer will make improvement to the interface. Won't commit to buying anything until then.
