Customer Reviews
Aesthetically appealing, nearly useful app
Relatively stable FTP app (has only crashed once) with potential for being great. Ideally suited to correct embarrassing mistake on your website while on the go. A passcode option offers a welcomed layer of security.
Navigating complex code is a challenge. Collapsible sections would be welcomed here with the limited screen real estate. There is a jump-to line number feature (if you know what line number you need). There is no search-and-replace (or "search" for that matter).
Syntax color schemes are nice but (non-editable) color schemes are not always legible. For example, with a white background, comments might be deep blue while actual code is yellow.
For files requiring special access permissions (like Perl), this version is a non-starter since it cannot set file permissions.
Overall, it's a handy app for emergencies but not well suited for extensive edits or site maintenance.
Easy set up and workflow
From the get-go, it was fairly easy to open and get to editing one of my websites. It would be nice if it supported DreamWorkers .ste files (exported website info) to lessen having to manually recreate all my project ftp info, but that's not a biggie. TIP: When you have a document open, press the gear icon (top-right) and turn Line Wrapping on - it will save you from going crazy. I have to agree with others though, a search and/or replace option (a combination of both would be better of course) would be nice to have. Overall, I like it.
