NOTE ON MOVIE QUALITY
Many people have commented on the quality of the movies, so please keep in mind these are not DVD quality films. First, many of these films never found their way to digital, so what you are seeing is actual first cut from film, tape, or other. Next, they are being streamed to the iPad from the server so we are limited in the quality we can provide. We are doing our best to improve, but many of these films are rare which is why we feel this app is so special.

Pretty good presentation, great preservation material
Yes a lot of folks will be very upset over the quality of the visual, and rightly so although I don't know that the developer of this app can resolve that-- if he or she can, please do so- and even charge for it if you must.
But the material is well worth saving, from pure junk (and some junk is marvelous stuff) to pure cultural gold, but all worth knowing about.
Bottom line: I highly recommend this app, poor quality visual and all. Some might argue the poor quality of the visual adds to the overall effect. To me, content is all!
Horror on the iPad
As long as you are in it for the fun and not expecting great cinema quality, its quite enjoyable. Full of pop culture artifacts.
