Customer Reviews
short lived fun
I downloaded this app with the expectations of it being interactive and informative. Well, i was let down in both cases. All this app consists of is wallpaper images. Granted, they are brilliant images, but if you're looking for anything other than pictures, look for another app.
Pros: Brilliant images formatted for the iPhone
Cons: Monsterous File Size (65MB), no facts/information on pictures, not interactive
Bottom line - it's fun for a day, and then just wastes space on your phone.
1.3.1 is prone to spurious crashes
This app used to be very stable and reasonably useful for viewing some Hubble telescope images. It used to be reasonably good on iPads, for not being an iPad aware app (complete inability to deal with screen rotation).
Now the app is prone to spurious crashes, especially when A/B rating Hubble photos for the most popular images.
It would be nice if this app were iPad aware.
It would be even better if the new crashing gets completely wrung out.
Crazy cool
This is the best app for pictures in space. So cool.
