Very disappointing
The am grateful 'chapters' are poorly laid out. The text frequently piles up on top of itself and can't be read easily, and I really don't like the music. The 'enriching visions' section is meditative, but the material is boring. I will not be buying any in-app purchases.
Very Dissapointing and WASTEFUL of bandwidth.
This is hands down the most wasteful application when it comes to bandwidth usage. You can't simply watch one of their slide shows and then re-watch it. Every single time it uses a vast amount of bandwidth. The online slide shows for full members are equally wasteful of bandwidth resources. We pay dearly for bandwidth in South Africa and this app and the full membership are a total no go for us.
It's a great idea but VERY poorly implemented. Get new programmers to rebuild this and give BIG BOLD warnings to prospective buyers that they will spend more money on bandwidth than on the actual membership fees.
I watched the bandwidth graph on my server and while it's playing a slideshow it is using an equal amount of upload AND download bandwidth, basically had my 14mbp/s connection maxed out the entire time while watching the sideshow. Judging from the bandwidth usage it does not even appear that images have been optimized in any way.
Based on just one of the slide shows we watched this morning I personally could have put the ENTIRE slideshow into a file size of under 5-10 mb but what I saw being used easily amounted to well over 200 mb of data usage. Really very shoddy programming.
