Description
iAdd is a new approach towards productivity. It's based on a life management framework called ADD, which in turns takes its name from Assess, Decide, Do. Those are stages, or realms in which we are using our focus.
Many productivity methodologies are based exclusively on the Do realm, while leaving the other two main areas of our activities untouched.
iAdd aims to integrate this life management framework in a very simple and easy to use app.
======================
Assess - overload your internal system with information: add tasks, ideas, events or projects. This is the place where you can edit or delete information. ADD enforces a single entry point for overloading your system.
Decide - "sign the contract" to actually do that task or project. You do this by bounding the task to your physical environment: setting up a time-frame and a specific context.
Do - you see only what you decided earlier. Not extra clutter, not floating tasks or events, only what you decide you really want to do.
And yet, all the other available info would be available in the Assess or Decide at any time.
======================
iAdd Features:
- sync your data wireless via 3G, EDGE or WiFi between iPhone and iPad apps via Dropbox
- send tasks, events, projects or ideas by email
- powerful life management framework, enforcing a smooth workflow to help you not only get things done, but also have a real life :-)
- unique insertion point (the Assess realm)
- local alerts for tasks and events (iOS4 exclusive feature)
- unlimited number of contexts and collections
- unlimited number of tasks, ideas, events and projects
- brainstorm your projects first with ideas, and then transform them into projects with a simple touch

What's New in Version 1.3.4
Bug fixes
iPad
- fixed an infrequent crash when sending back a project back to Decide from Do
Both versions
- the contexts array is now correctly intialized in Decide (on occasions, when adding another context in Assess didn't always fired the correct intialization in Decide too)
- re-Assessing an event created in the sample database from a Collection now works as expected (re-Assessing events created in the initial database was inconsistent)
- adding a new Collection in Assess now works as expected (on occasions, if no collection was added but the Cancel button was hit a new, empty collection was created).
- adding and editing Contexts works as expected (creating a new context when there was no one in the db resulted in duplication with an empty one, and editing an existing contexts sometimes duplicated the current one instead of editing it)
Minor interface improvements
- matching background color in Assess for Contexts and Collections (iPhone)
- the Sync controller is now presented consistently, same animation for all realms (iPhone)
- the Project title is displayed by default in the view's title in Do (iPad)
- updated the launch images to be consistent with the new interface additions (iPhone/iPad)
Miscellaneous
- credit screen added for both iPhone and iPad versions
* warning *
The sync algorithm is in process of being changed. Parts of the 1.3.4 version have been already modified, so it is advisable not to use syncing until the next version, 1.3.5, will be released, and the syncing code will be stable.
Customer Reviews
Great APP, but doesn't save information
This APP is great! The solution I've been looking for.
BUT - it doesn't save your work for some reason? For example, when I input information and send something to my TO DO list, then close my iPAD then re-open, it isn't saved!!! This is a bit absurd and frustrating. Please correct.
