Description
This application adds the a compass to your device. It either uses the built in magnetic compass (if available) or provides a sun compass (You just have to see the sun and know the time to determine the north direction). Use it for all your outdoor activities whether it's hiking, biking or for a boy scout camp. The sun compass is not affected by magnetic anomalies.

Works fine
This is basically a "sun compass" and it does what is promises...shows you where true north is when the sun is shining. As a photographer I use it frequently to estimate when good lighting conditions might be present for other times of the day. The iPod Touch doesn't have a built-in magnetic compass so this is the best and only app that gives you an indication of direction.
Screw this app
It doesn't even belong on the application. This is a scam and 100% junk. I'd rather wipe my butt with the dollar I just spent.
I spent way too much time, several times frustrated. IT'S NOT ME.
As i don't like to read manual, hence an Apple user, I picked up this compass over a year ago. I tried it on two iPhones and an iPad. Completely useless. It does not work. In fact, it irks me to see something so useless still in the Apple Store. I wish they'd dump applications that have one star averages that outweigh 4's and 5's combined. This is junk. Although, if you're one of those guys who like to make things work that others cannot. You'll love this. It will keep you busy FOREVER.
