Very useful app
I've used this app for a long time. It replaced my written check register. I also have it installed on my iPad for use as a backup. That can be tedious having to re-enter each transaction and avoid typing errors. It would be nice to have a sync feature instead of emailing the transactions the way they have it now. But I'll continue to use it unless they stop support, which they may do now that they have Account 2 out. I don't understand why we would have to pay another $1 for a new version that doesn't offer that much more than this one and still not have a sync feature. Every other app I own makes updates free even when they make drastic changes. So they tack version 2 behind the name and it cost again? And will the current data in version 1 transfer to 2? I won't take that chance until I hear experience from others. I know it's only $1 but how often will they come out with a new version to charge another $1?Nice app but needs sync and free updates for additional features.
But We Were Good, Right?
I do understand charging for a version 2 for an app that has had a lot of work put into it. I appreciate that this one still works. But obviously, updates to this one have gone from great and often to quaint.
Version 2 doesn't look that different, and I'm not going to pay for an app again that works, but has the same tired look and quirks every time I make a transaction. Competition has caught up, so it's time to literally take my money somewhere else.
