Description
Subway in Korea is a subway map of whole Korean subway system. In comparison with Lite version, it has rich additional features, including route searching, station information, station searching.
Features:
- Subway map for Seoul, Taejeon, Daegue, Busan, and Kwangju

- Zoom in/out with multiple touch (pinch zoom)

Nice...... but
I liked the free version of this. I got the free one to try out and see what it was like. Anyway, I upgraded half-way expecting to get a lot of detailed "station information" like what times the train would come, highlighted routes, ability to make common routes.... all the things the other reviewers mentioned. Basically for paying for the upgrade, what I got was information concerning how long it takes to get from point A to point B (which is basically 2 minutes per stop and 5 per transfer). I could have done that in my head. I really hope in the future that updates will contain more functionality. As it is, it is still a nice map for different cities, but a little basic compared to what most new Korean cell phones offer, and not that much more compared to the free version considering the price.
Works well
This app works pretty well, there is a pretty comprehensive map where you can select departure and arrival stations and it will plan out the best route for you, and approximately how long it should take. If there was something I could add to it, maybe on a future update, I would want to be able to look at time tables on it, so I know when the train is going to be at the station or the train that will be going my direction.... for instance, on line 1, if you are around seoul, you can catch a train that will head towards incheon, or cheonan, it would be helpful ahead of time to know which train was going to be going my way, instead of waiting on the platform to see the sign on the side of the train. (I find the charts on the platform difficult to read, from a foreigner's point of view.
Good Ap needs stop #s in Station Information detail
Pretty good program. I have been using it in Seoul for a couple of months. I would rate it 5 stars if each stop # was available in the Station Informatio details. To navigate the subway effectively in Seoul a person needs to know the Line # (or color), the stop # (or stop name. # is easier for expats), and the exit from the subway #. I would also like a way to make notes for each stop or create a route. Thanks
