Too Many Bugs and Leaks
I switched from Smartlist to Go on Palm OS to Handbase. I have run into many bugs, leaks, and usability issues:
1: I have about a dozen leftover Form and Image files I cannot delete from my iPhone or Desktop system
2: Fields added after initial database creation are not showing up in forms
3: Text placement is off for multiline boxes.
4: The Desktop forms environment does not represent the iPhone very well and appears to be laid out for Windows Mobile.
5: The Desktop forms editor is tricky to use, clicking on an object typically moves it.
I am looking around for something that works as well as Smartlist to Go. Hopefully it improves soon and I will not have wasted $40 on the iPhone and desktop versions.
Better than just an App
App is amazing. It goes above and beyond what our needs are. In working for a large government agency there are so many strict regulations that must be followed at all times. Not only does this App make it easy to do just that, but the technical staff and developers have gone out of their way to make this a pleasant and easy experience. While there is no direct line for contact, the staff was more than available via e-mail and promptly responded to our MANY inquiries. We thank you for all of your hard work and recomend this App to anyone!
Wonderful database!
I loved HanDBase on Palm OS and it's even better on iOS. Forms work great, too, for viewing selected data. Responsiveness of customer service is phenomenal!
