Description
UkeChords is a full featured ukulele chord dictionary. It provides instant access to thousands of chords in all 12 keys. Multiple voicing are available for each chord up and down the neck. Swipe left and right to change positions. Each chord can also be heard either as a chord or individual notes to double check your fingering (just hit the fret dots or strings). Left or right hand playing is supported.
Two tuning are available. Request others if you have a favorite that is missing:
- Standard: G C E A
- Alternate: A D F# B
A chord search function also lets you find chords from known fingerings. This is useful if you see someone playing a chord and you don't know what it is. Here is how to use the chord search function:
- Swipe left or right to move up and down the neck.
- Tap a fret to include it in the chord
- Tap it again to remove it
- Tap the nut to exclude that string
- Tap again to include the string
Works with iPod Touch, iPhone (all models), and iPad.

Why mess with a good thing?
Really not happy with the latest update. No play button. And the interface is completely different. Why not just keep the old interface and add more chords? I loved the old version why not just improve on that? Why do they keep trying to reinvent this app?
New look is mo betta
Just want to address user's concerns about new look.
- there is a Play button, upper right
- new version has many more chord forms. You can't do that without rearranging things to fit
- a reminder to swipe left and right to see more versions of same chord.
All in all I want to say that I listen to my users. I have dozens of requests to improve the look and add more features. I have one bad review from someone who doesn't like the changes. So I hope you give the app a try and see that one review for what it is: one disgruntled user among many satisfied ones. Thank you for your support
