Simple and helpful
I am half Japanese, have lived in Japan for a few years as a child, and even visited Japan a few times recently. Now I'm taking my 3rd year of Japanese in high school, but was still struggling with the basics when I got this app. I'm supplementing my work with this-- and it has cleared up so many things for me. It presents one grammar concept at a time, and the narrator does a good job of explaining things so that you know exactly what you are doing when you make a sentence. It's all down to earth and relatively easy to digest. I recommend this if you want to begin learning Japanese on your own, or wish to supplement what you are already learning. I bet even a native speaker would even learn a thing or two from this...
I'm not finished yet, but I can already feel my confidence in using Japanese improving.
Intuitive and fun
A lot of care went into this. It explains Japanese in a really intuitive and fun way. Which means you'll actually use it and learn Japanese. In fact, if you want to interest anyone in learning Japanese just show them this app!
