Needs a sharing option and customize aisles
I mentioned this a few versions ago. I am not the only one who goes to the store. It would be nice if this app would let me or my wife add/check off items to the list.
Would also like to add aisles. The presets are not always enough.
Finally, some items can be purchased at the groceries store or DIY store. It would be nice if checking an item off of one list would check it from all.
Other than these three requests its a fine app.
Almost perfect
I have tried a LOT of grocery apps and this was by far my favorite. Simple, elegant design and customizable in all the areas I need. But an iPhone glitch deleted all my apps, and so all my lists, stores and database changes were gone. Highly irritating. This would not have happened if there was an option to back up your info or sync between devices.
I believe this is the first update in around a year, and it did not address any real functionality issues. I will keep hoping for an update that will protect my data and let me sync lists, but until then I'll be sadly using a different app that does.
Works well
Easy to use, works well, very customizable lists. For those looking for a shopping list app and don't need a lot of bells and whistles, this is a good choice. There seems to be a trend in shopping list apps to add all sorts of checkbox features that one really doesn't use if your shopping list requirements are simple. Thankfully, this app has avoided the trend. No ads, no annoying interface issues, complex screens, etc. Just simple shopping lists. Recommended.
