Lists can be easily filtered on either the flag or check field, or both. (eg, flag items from a master grocery list that you currently need, touch the flag filter, and you’ll be left with a filtered list of just current needs. This app rocks
I have used a few of them and this has the best and easiest User interface. It is a universal app and looks great on the iPad as well.
I use it for birding lists and bird counts. Now I can send the list to other Users which was a severe limitation before the update. Thanks for this feature.
The only improvement would be wireless sync or Dropbox support.
Handy Shopper Adicts
Thanks for update! Now includes iPad. Anyone looking for HandyShopper replacement? This comes the closest with sublists, ability to flag for "need" and checks. No "aisle" column but very easy to use custom column for that. Author said he will try for "total items" in future update. The "colors" are beautiful and make up for lack of icons. I use this to make Family Trees of my close friends. Enter births, names, then create sublists for their children. It can grow & grow!
Swiss Army knife of lists
There are many checklist app's on the App Store - but you only need one - this one. I just created my RV arrive/ depart setup procedure lists (step-by-step) and my Gift Card & Coupon tracking list (with expire dates) in List Monger. Being able to have sublists, easy reordering of items, and moving/ copying items from one list to another (even to diff levels) make this a very flexible list management/ maintenance tool. One great list tool is much better than a dozen specialized, so-so list app's ... and cheaper, and only one tool to learn. GREAT!
