Great Game
Great game. Got it when it was a bargain at 99 cents on sale. decent graphics, easy controls, fluid gameplay.
its everything the original was. Can be really frustrating to have to make it through in one try. Definitely gives you a challenge.
TIP: At the start screen, hit (on d-pad) UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT then hit "A". A screen will pop up when you hit UP, but continue anyway, you can see the button being pressed behind the screen. then hit "New Game" If you did it right, you should get to level select. (vote helpfull so people can see)
Now updated for iPhone 4
With the new update the game finally runs smooth on iPhone 4. Really great frame rate. Good job Sega.
Controls need work
Unlike the original, In which button mashing was the way to play, this game requires extreme finesse in its platforming elements. Holding down forward isn't a good idea most of the time, and aiming a jump is a very difficult affair.
If the developer allowed for any placement/customization of controls, this game would at least be comfortable to play.
If you have big hands/thumbs - avoid this port. I regret my purchase.
