GOOD BUT FRUSTRATING
I am a college student who has been using this app on my Iphone for well over a year now. I use it for note taking and typing compositions.
This is probably one of the best word processors in the app store. Its outlining capabilities cant be beat. But for $17, it should have a few more features and some of the bugs worked out.
BUGS & ADD'L FEATURES NEEDED
1) It does NOT work with an external keyboard very well. I often have to tap the screen several times before it will recognize the keyboard.
2) It does not multitask very well. When I switch back from another app and try to type, it wont recognize my keyboard. again I have to tap the screen several times. Other apps are not like this.
3) IT DOES NOT TYPE IN CHINESE. SINCE THE UPDATE, THE APP CRASHES EVERY TIME I TRY TO TYPE IN CHINESE. THIS IS FRUSTRATING SINCE I AM A CHINESE MAJOR.
4) I THINK AN APP AS EXPENSIVE AS THIS SHOULD HAVE A SPELL CHECKER, THE ABILITY TO CREATE FOLDERS, DIRECT PRINTING, A FULL PAGE VEIW AND IOS5 SUPPORT, SUCH AS TEXT TO SPEECH.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS.

Thanks for the faster scrolling through large documents in 4.0!
This app pushes the limits of the iphone. It is *much* better than QuickOffice- the interface is slicker and more importantly it displays my files correctly, including footnotes. The one thing that pushed me over the edge to buy was the added Dropbox support. It is flawless and works great for transferring files between my Linux desktop.
Not a good app if you are a Salesperson
If you are expecting it to look and work like microsoft on a pc, you will be disappointed. I just told my colleague today that the ipad is a really fun toy and great for surfing the net, but not very productive for work use as an outside Salesperson.
What I like: I can update my excel file of clients and contacts. 2). PDF files look perfect.
What I don't like: 1) Sometimes not all the excel sheets are available, not sure why. 2). My powerpoint presentations do NOT look the same as on my pc. Two dialog boxes will be overlapped and the whole slide won't be visible, so on many slides, my company logo is only partially visible. Very annoying. 3). Word files are also distorted, all the formatting is changed, does not even look the same as on my pc.
I cannot use this app to show clients presentations or sales collateral/promotional information unless it's in PDF format.
If I had know all this prior to paying $17, I would not have spent the money.
