Not great
I bought this app to get t9 for text messaging so I don't have to type every letter. Although you can find your contacts using this app, you can't use it to text. It sends you to the iPhone keyboard to type your message. Disappointing.
God sent.
Coming from a treo & blackberry like background and therefore missing the ability to make calls easily, I simply say this;
This app is a God sent.
Forget out about those folks who say that this app does not worth 99 cents. I'd say, the iphone worths nothing if it weren't for the apps like this.
If it is gonna take me multiple steps to make a darned call, forget about it. Give me my hardware based not so smart phone back.
The key thing in this app is this;
You replace the apple's phone app with this one right on the iPhone's bottom toolbar. That's step 1.
You tap on it and it opens up in no time. That's step 2. The good thing is you always find the same interface open for you; not like the stupid built-in phone app that always opens up in the last left tab. voice mail / contacts / recent calls / keypad etc. With this app, you always get the keypad, consistently.
And finally, step 3. You just type. Type either a phone number or a name. And if there is a name match, it finds it. Just like a treo, blackberry does. And If it does not, then it only because the number you are putting in does not exist in your contacts. You cannot any simplify this.
The guy also provided a whole bunch of other stuff, but to tell you the truth, I don't care.
If he were to charge me 10 bucks on this one feature that I covered above, I would have still rated with 5 stars.
Kudos to you, the programmer. You really pulled it off. And believe it or not, your app made me change my mind. I am gonna keep the iphone.
