Wikipedia is now officially on the iPhone! This is our official application and we are working hard on making the absolute best Wikipedia app out there.
This app is focused on being very simple and very fast. Over time, we'll add features based on requests.

Worse than the mobile browser version
Because this is an app, it should be able to do things browsers can't. This means bigger buttons, intuitive interfaces, and multitouch controls. To be on par with a browser it needs gyroscopic rotation, multiple window support, and faster loading times. The non mobile site is beautiful. This mobile app needs to reflect that.
Great except for a few things
It works fine for me and never crashes regularly. If you download this, DON'T click the external links. It will crash and you will need to delete then re install. Suggestion: when you click a external link, it should ask to open in Safari. Oh, and the last update added "Wikipedia: the free encyclopedia" in the search box which you have to delete every time, worst update ever. There's also no landscape mode, which is fine for me but maybe not others. They should make it an option to turn it on (or off).
