Customer Reviews

Horrible, with one redeeming quality

Ok, they obviously just typed some words into an online translator and dumped them into a list. The translations are, while sometimes accurate, not grammatically correct (which is a considerable feat given that we're dealing with single words here). Sets are incomplete (has granddaughter and grandchildren but nothing for grandson, for example). It just seems haphazardly slapped together, no rhyme or reason to which words were chosen, and it was clearly something I could have done myself using an online translator (and gotten better results; the given translation for the verb 'to dust' is 'al polvo', which is actually 'to tje dust', and is a noun. It should be 'quitar el polve' or something similar.) The audio feature is useless, too. It doesn't sound anything like the words ought to sound. It's obviously programmed for English text-to-speech, and doesn't know what to do with the Spanish words.

The only redeeming quality is that it allows you to create your own sets of words. I'm taking a medical interpreting course, and I will create body systems vocabulary lists. This could be a useful study tool. They should have skipped the vocabulary all together and simply sold it as a fillable study tool. Then I might be giving it more stars.

BAD SPANISH

This is nothing but a list of machine translated words. It contains many errors, some of them ridiculous. The creators of this app obviously don't know any Spanish.
