Local Freq is an extremely easy to use location based front end to the Radio Reference website to find local police, fire, ambulance and business scanner frequencies. This is used to program your scanner with the area's latest frequencies and does not stream audio.
This app requires GPS and we recommend running this on an iPhone only. If you are running it on an iPod Touch you must have Location Services turned on for this app to function.

Easily find local police, fire, ambulance scanner frequencies using the Radio Reference website.

**Local Freq is design to work ONLY in the United States. It will not work outside the US. It requires a USPS zip code. Specifically it will not work in Canada or Mexico.

Very upset does not work and hoping for my money back
Don't waste money
Don't waste your money. I tried several and had scanner on for over 8 hrs and it was complete silence. As also someone else posted no sounds from site. They really need to have option try before buy. I will be trying to get my money back.
