Smash, burn, eat!
This is the best iPhone game I've played all year. I am Earth Dragon, destroyer of worlds. I burn hapless archers (haha, your arrows are no match for my flames!), I pummel wizards from above (didn't see that coming, did you wizard?), and I smash castles down to their foundations. The princess? I sent her flying offscreen in an arc of blood. (I would have liked to hold onto her. But you know how I get when I'm in my destructive rage :^( This game is pretty much what the iPhone was made for. There is nothing quite like the feeling of taking down a castle and burning everyone inside. Really makes me wonder why there are so many tower defense games when tower offense is so much more fun. I am Earth Dragon, destroyer of worlds!
Definitely not a premium game worth $2.99
I bought this app because the reviews were so raving. However my guess is those reviews were written by the developers friends as this app is awful. The gameplay is boring and mindless, the controls are awful, and the graphics are what we expect for $.99 not $2.99. As one reviewer accurately said, this is all about button mashing. If you're into a game that doesn't challenge you visually, playfully, or really in any way, then go ahead. For $2.99 though, you're much better off buying a real premium game like Soosiz. I don't have any affiliation with Soosiz but it's one of the few games I've found worth the $2.99 premium.
Whimsical, Original, Fun to Play
I don't usually like shooting games but this one charmed me. The levels are short but challenging, build up in gameplay from the absolute simplest to the truly challenging, and it is easy to replay a level and super fast to get a do-over. A little gem, with well-tuned gameplay in a whimsical world.
