very functional, well-designed and beautiful app
This is a very functional, well-designed and beautiful app for travel, and it sync. with TripIt. Unfortunately, it only does it one-way (from TripIt to TripDeck); however, The sync is MUCH better and smoother than the TripIt app; the "Unlink Trip" feature is very handy, when you don't have access to TripIt website(or network) and want to do some quick changes to your plan. Unlike TripIt app, this is not just a TripIt Reader, you can use it with or without TripIt account. BTW, the support is hand-down fast and great!
IMO, they can make this app even better, if they can improve the following:
1. The notepad feature on each trip is a plus, however, it should support URL highlight(just like iPhone's built-in Notes).
2. The font on the back of the card is very small; it should be bigger (perhaps, make it scrollable, if space is an issue)
3. Provide bi-directional sync.; that is when the network is available.
Incredible, can't live without it app
I've been using this app since December of 2009 and I can't recommend it enough. Forward the email confirmations to Tripit and tripdeck takes it from there. I updated the phone and for one trip lost the alert functionality and nearly buckled.
Calendar, phone, mail and tripdeck. Essential for and roadie. And do not hesitate to spend the cash on the full featured version. If you a serios, savvy and smart traveler, you will have found what you've always needed.
Well...
It's a good app idea, but I think it needs iPad compatibility. Also, add more hotels and cruises, maybe more luxurious ones?
