Description
Memgellan is a play on the name of the explorer,
Magellan, and the purpose of this little app: to
improve your memory. It helps you to practice
one particular technique - the Journey Method -
which has an ancient provenance. I, myself
had learned of it via the highly recommended
book by British memory champion Dominic
O'Brien ('How to Develop a Perfect Memory').
Very simply, you have Journeys, which should be
very familiar to you, each of which has several
Locations; you make Lists of Items that you want
to remember and imaginatively associate each
with its respective Location.
What's New in Version 1.04
Fixed serious crashing bug (sorry, I should have tested it more thoroughly on iOS 4; thanks MB for informing me).
Made small improvements to interfaces.
