Description
Pastebot is a powerful new clipboard manager that stores text and images copied from your iPhone/iPod Touch. Copy something you want to save, run Pastebot and it automatically gets imported for you to access later.
Organize your clippings in folders and use the built-in search to find what you saved quickly. Run a “Find & Replace” filter on a block of text or convert an image into Black & White. Maybe you just need to crop and rotate an image. This is all possible with Pastebot’s powerful editing and filtering tools. Pastebot contains 14 filters with more on the way.

Customer Reviews
Still a cornerstone of my iOS workflow
Pastebot took a vacation for a month or so, while I tried out DropCopy in its place, but ultimately, I came back to Pastebot as my clipboard-manager of choice for my iOS devices. Why? Because, as I recently explained to a friend who wanted to know more about Pastebot:
* it supports multiple folders for stored clips;
* it provides built-in filters that can be applied to the clips (convert to lowercase, wrap in HTML, etc);
* copy from Mac to iOS is automatic and instantaneous, once the helper app has been installed;
* text inside each individual clip CAN BE EDITED before, during, or after being copied;
* Pastebot handles images just as easily as it does text.
The one area where Pastebot lost out to DropCopy, in my evaluation, is in iPad and multi-iOS support: Pastebot does not offer an iPad native nor a universal version (why not?), and copy and paste between iOS devices (iPhone and iPad, two iPhones, or two iPads) can be accomplished only with an intermediate copy to a host computer -- unless I am missing the option, which is possible, since they are not organized as intuitively as they should be in Pastebot. However, I still come back to this app for, if nothing else, the stored clips in folders and the ability to edit my clips. Those are unbeatable features.
VERY POOR DESIGN AND TOO MUCH $
This app has a good concept behind it, but that's where the goodness ends.
For one thing, each snippet takes up so much room on the list screen that you can only see 4 items at a time. The items have a ridiculous amount of needless frame around them and are four or five lines tall even if there is only one line of text. This is lame.
Second, tapping an item opens up a mini dashboard under the item. Why? I only want it copied to the clipboard. If I want to see a dashboard related to the item I want another button to say so. It copies the item to the clipboard at the same time, but only if the dashboard isn't already visible. If it is, the dashboard is retracted and I have to tap it again to get it to do what I wanted it to do the first time I tapped it. Stupid.
The mini (useless) dashboard for an item that appears under it tells me how long (in characters) the item is. Ooooo! LIKE I CARE.
Whoever 'designed' this app is doesn't have a clue what 'user friendly' means.
It's too bad no one has a better paste manager. So I have to live with this crap.
UPDATE: there IS a better paste manager! It's called Pastie. Simple and quick, flawless.
Everything the others say is true, but
It's time for an update, and I would love to be able to sync over the net with DropBox rather than WiFi to my desktop since I have access to the cloud more often during the day than I have access to my home network.
